Overview
JDE Peet's is the world-leading coffee and tea company with a strong presence in Europe. The company boasts a diverse portfolio of brands serving over 100 markets globally. The Supply Chain department plays a crucial role in ensuring the company achieves its Compelling Business Needs (CBNs), which include loss elimination, capability building, standardization, and optimization of core processes. To guarantee JDE delivers a robust value chain to customers and operates efficiently, the entire SC department works through the Supply Chain Operating System (SCOS), a system ideally suited for its comprehensive approach to continuous improvement. The SC department structure is built on five pillars: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and Initiatives Management. Depending on the scope of each pillar, the company has been organized into distinct teams, ranging from local to central planning levels.
Our team is responsible for the Initiative Management pillar, which we call "SUPPLY CHAIN Initiatives Management (SCIM)." SCIM works closely with various projects that are either developing new products or adapting existing ones to meet market changes. The team focuses on delivering 5 key deliverables for each project, with each deliverable passing through different checkpoints. To effectively manage all project phases, we utilize different types of trackers tailored to specific purposes.
